August Bank Holiday Live Music At The Sheep

Looking for something fun to do this August Bank Holiday Weekend? Get yourself down to the Sheep on Sheep Street for live music on the garden terrace from 3-7 pm on Sunday. Soak up the sun with bountiful beverages whilst a local artist serenades you.

Perhaps enjoy a delicious dish or palate-pleasing platter from the Sunday Menu, which includes spectacular Roast Dinners and terrific wood-fired pizzas. Children and dogs are also welcome!

Chateaubriand Day At The Porch House

Every Thursday is Chateaubriand Day at The Porch House pub and restaurant in Stow on the Wold. The Chateaubriand Menu is available for lunch between 12-3 and Dinner between 6-9 and is perfect for a date night or a catch-up with friends.

Chateaubriand Day is £60 per couple and the menu includes Chateaubriand Steak to Share, truffled field mushroom, creamed spinach, béarnaise sauce, parmesan & rocket salad and traditional cut chips along with a bottle of Red, White or Rose house wine. Sides, sauces and desserts are also available.

The Porch House is a stunning countryside inn (the oldest in England!) that offers beautifully British fare and an array of sensational sips, including premium pints of Brakspear. This dog-friendly establishment also boasts regular in-house events AND has event spaces available to hire.

Music At Stow

Music At Stow is one of several annual events in Stow on the Wold. This fabulous music festival was launched back in 2014 to “bring big names to a small town” and will take place between 15-17 September this year.

Confirmed artists include the Darius Brubeck Quartet performing cool jazz and the legendary R&B performer Geno Washington, who will be performing alongside the Ram Jam Band.

Walking The Hills – Stow To Bourton Walk

If you would like to stretch your legs and take in two of the prettiest towns in the Cotswolds, why not join this 11.5-mile guided walk from Stow-on-the-Wold to Bourton on the Water and back?!

You will have plenty of breaks, as well as ample time to explore both of these glorious towns.

The Farmer’s Market is a staple event in Stow’s calendar and is held every second and last Thursday of the month from May-September, and every 2nd Thursday from October-March.
